What surfaces can wall decals be applied to?

Wall decals work on any smooth, clean, non-porous surface: painted walls (most common), interior doors, wardrobe doors, glass (windows, mirrors), tiles, smooth wood furniture, and even appliances like fridges. Avoid: textured walls, unpainted brick, fabric-covered surfaces, and freshly-painted walls (wait 4+ weeks for paint to cure). The surface needs to be dust-free and slightly warm — the vinyl bonds better above 15°C / 60°F.

Can I use wall decals on textured or bumpy walls?

Honestly — it depends on the texture depth. Light texture usually works fine with smaller decals and firm pressure during application. Heavy textures (stucco, woodchip) don't work — the vinyl can't make full contact with the surface, leading to peeling within days. To check before ordering: press a piece of clear packing tape firmly to your wall. If it sticks flat with no air pockets after 30 seconds, your wall is decal-friendly. If you can see bumps under the tape, the wall is likely too textured.

How do I apply a wall decal without bubbles or wrinkles?
